Oona Insurance Indonesia has launched embedded travel protection on Airpaz in collaboration with Tune Protect, making insurance accessible within the flight booking journey. The digital-first solution supports Indonesian travellers with protection for common travel risks such as flight delays, baggage delays, travel misconnections, document loss, trip cancellation, and personal liability, strengthening Oona’s presence across digital travel touchpoints.
Oona Insurance Indonesia has launched embedded travel protection on Airpaz, one of Asia Pacific’s leading online booking platforms, offering a wide selection of flights and hotels globally. This will enable Indonesia travellers to access protection directly within the flight booking process. The collaboration is supported by Tune Protect Re, the Travel & Lifestyle reinsurance subsidiary of Tune Protect Group Berhad, serves as the reinsurance partner, strengthening the capacity, expertise and resilience behind the travel protection solution within a seamless cross-border ecosystem.
This initiative marks a step forward in making protection part of the digital booking journey. By expanding into the Online Travel Agency (OTA) space through this partnership with Airpaz, Oona continues to broaden its reach while strengthening its travel ecosystem. The collaboration builds on Oona’s existing partnership with VFS Global and integration with GoPay ensuring a seamless, protected experience across key traveller touchpoints.
